Task description
KM Telecom has delivered and is continuing to expand the fiber backbone at DSB Togværksted Næstved, which constitutes the central infrastructure for the area's communication solutions. The fiber delivery ensures high capacity, operational reliability and a solid foundation for both current and future systems.
In addition, KM Telecom has delivered and implemented a DAS solution with four mobile bands, ensuring stable and uniform mobile coverage in several buildings in the area. The DAS system is built with a main unit located in the main building, from which the coverage is distributed to the associated buildings.
The delivery included DAS design, DAS installation and coverage testing with CERNO4, which documents high quality, correct signal level and high operational reliability. The solution supports commercial mobile networks and is designed for a complex and mission-critical workshop environment.
The overall solution is designed with a focus on robustness, scalability and operational stability and contributes to a future-proof communications infrastructure that supports DSB's daily operations and technical requirements.
